Visa Requirements

 

In order to obtain a Visa valid for travel to the Republic of Mozambique applicants are required by the Consular Section of the High Commission to produce the following;

 

  1. A  Passport valid for at least 6 (six) months.
  2. One duly filled in Application Form. This is downloadable from this website or obtainable from the Consular Section.
  3. Two passport size photographs.
  4. Visitors other than tourists are required to produce a letter of invitation or of introduction from official or business institutions in Mozambique.
  5. Tourists are required to produce their return tickets or flight confirmation slip. They may additionally be required to exhibit proof of booked hotel/hostel accommodation and/or of financial ability to sustain themselves during their stay in Mozambique.

 


 

Visa Fees

 

The fees charged for issuance of Visas at the Consular Section of Mozambique High Commissiom are as follows;

 

  1. Normal Service  ( Three working days )

Single Entry      £40.00  ( Forty Pounds Sterling)

Multiple Entry    £70.00  ( Seventy Pounds Sterling)

 

  1. Express Service   ( 24 Hours )

Single Entry      £50.00  ( Fifty Pounds Sterling )

Multiple Entry    £100.00 ( One Hundred Pounds Sterling )

 

  1. Same Day Express Service  ( 90 minutes )

Single Entry      £60.00  ( Sixty Pounds Sterling )

Multiple Entry    £110.00  ( One Hundred pounds Sterling )

 

When payment for Visa issuance is made by cheque; they should be crossed and made payable to: Mozambique High Commission .

 


 

Definitions;

 

Single Entry Visa allows one entry and stay that can range from a minimum of 1 day to one month, renewable to a maximum of 90 days, provided that the Visa is still valid at the moment of  application.

 

Multiple Entry Visa allows more than one entry during the validity of the Visa. The length allowed for visitors’ stay during each entry will be spelt out in the Visa. A Multiple Entry Visa can have a validity of a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 180 days.

 


 

The Consular Section of the Mozambique High Commission is able to post out Passports with processed Visas. Applicants who wish to receive their Passport by post are required to supply a self addressed stamped and registered envelope for that purpose.

N.B. - Please note that payment of the Visa fee is not a guarantee that a Visa will be issued. Visa Fee is not refundable.
